APPROACH TO TEACHING
Dance has many physical, mental, and emotional health benefits. In addition to building a stronger body, dance can also increase focus, confidence, and discipline. Partner dancing in particular has also proven to help build stronger collaboration and communication skills. Susan incorporates the mental and emotional benefits of dance into her teaching approach. In addition to traditional classes, Susan uses her sociology background to help students with ADD, low self-esteem, injury recovery, and social/marital issues through dance.
